If I rent a condo for a year.

1) I enter Thailand with my DTV multiples times over the year does my landlord have to submit a new TM30 every time I leave & come back ?

2) I travel around in Thailand and stay at various Hotel. They will submit a new TM30 at every stay does it invalidate the one my landlord made on my arrival ? Do I need to request a new one when my travel is done ?

Thanks for the help.

Robert Lagas and Tod Daniels, just a bit of info for future reference for you guys regarding TM30’s.

I’m on an OA visa and live in Lopburi. The immigration here in Lopburi insist you file a new TM30 every time you stay in a hotel overnight outside the province. They also require ‘power of attorney’ unless you want to drag your landlord down to immigration each and every time. Luckily, this has been given to my Thai GF, which at least takes a little of the aggro out of this ridiculous procedure.

I reported my residents address after came back from my border bounce in Cambodia. I been traveling around many provinces during this 3 month and stayed in many hotel. I report in Pattaya and asked about travel inside Thailand and same as last time when you travel around in Thailand staying in hotel they do the reporting. You do not have to report back to jomtien. However if you decided to stay in your house in Pai for a week you must report it. If you go overnight to your mistress in bkk one night they not care. One guy very cleverly said I sleep on the bus 🚌 to avoid the fee of not reported when he arrived. The only people that was fined of the 50 saw was people who stayed with gf and never report. 50 people was done in less than than an 30 min by 3 polite immigration 👮‍♀️

Hi Todd,

Saw you mentioned a while back that staying in a hotel that notifies immigration doesn't overwrite the address given as the home address for 90 day reporting, is this correct ?

I was recently in Chiang Mai for 30 days visa exempt. I assume my condo landlord for the month reported my address on arrival. However, on three occasions during the month I took trips in country and stayed at a hotel where I assume they reported my address.

1)On each return from a hotel to the condo was I supposed to self-report the condo address?

2)Does a hotel report the dates of a stay or in my case would the last address of record in the immigration system be my last hotel even though I returned to the condo after?
