Thanks for accept.

Live in Laos, i'm norwegian. Just one question; is it still the same regarding 2 crossings per/year from Laos to Thailand?

Does anyone knows what is required to submit an application for a tourist visa at Savannakhet (and how much does it cost for a single entry visa)?

If you have a visa beforehand is there still a probability to get asked to show the 500euro or equivalent in cash at the border? (Particularly Thanaleng/Nong Khai border in Vientiane) in Laos its kinda of a pain to get that amount from an ATM! :(

Thanks in advance :)

I am looking to fly from Vientiane to Bangkok (DMK) to get a 30 day exempt entry in Thailand (I don't really fancy obtaining a Thai visa in Vientiane unless I have to and have used my two 30 day land entries already this year). Does anyone have experience of doing this? Specifically, am I likely to need an onward flight out of Thailand in order to be allowed to board my flight to Bangkok (DMK)? Thoughts appreciated!
