Hi all,

Few questions.

1) Has anyone traveled with either Finnair or Austrian airlines recently from BKK back to the UK? If so what was the experience like and will I need a PCR before boarding a plane with either one?

2) I am on a non-b so I know I'll need to get a multiple entry stamp from immigration - is this a fairly easy process? Never done it so looking for advice on that.

Also... my 90 day report is also due whilst I would be away but I was told by my HR that it starts again from day 1 when I land back in Thailand, that being the case should I have my TM30 with me to present to immigration?

3) Stupid question but just wondering if anyone who has left recently applied for the Thai pass before they left the Thailand itself - I'll only be in the UK for maybe 10-12 days max so wondering if it'd be best to just box it off before I leave Bangkok.

4) Does the SSO insurance cover foreign nationals for the return to Thailand - I know there was a big thing about this a while back but I cannot remember at all.

Kind of hoping the Thai Pass will be dissolved by then, allow me my wishful thinking.

Thanks for any help at all, much appreciated.

Hello! Originally I was planning to go to Bangkok through Test & Go but I decided to go to Thailand as Phuket Sandbox.

I’m trying to find a hotel on Agoda but I can’t find the hotel including PCR test, and I think I need get test through PSAS.

But the Thailand pass official webpage says that I need documents

“Paid AQ / SHA Extra+ hotel reservation confirmation throughout the 7 days period (including the fee for 2 RT-PCR tests)”

I don’t know what to do. Can I book the hotel and PCR test separately?

Sorry if someone already asked the same question but I couldn’t find the answer.

Thank you in advance

Just wanted to say a big thanks to all for the helpful advice and guidance. I’ve finally gone through the pre-flight visa/CoE application process and wanted to give any newcomers my experience:

- I’m a UK citizen back home at present. I’ve applied to return to Thailand with the STV (90days extendable 2x).

- obtained medical insurance cover from Tune for B20k (for 180 days cover) on 19Feb to start the process (policy schedule issued);

- submitted my e-visa application on 22Feb. Visa fee was £60. This was approved next day;

- passport mailed to Embassy in London by Special Mail and visa issued on 25th; passport received back by me next day;

- submitted application for CoE pre-approval with indicative ASQ hotel and proposed flight. This was approved on 28th (a Sunday!)

- confirmed my ASQ hotel reservation (Furama Silom, cost B32k) and booked return flight (Qatar Airways from London to Bangkok via Doha, cost £483) and submitted all these confos for final approval and CoE issuance on 29th. CoE was issued by the Embassy less than an hour after submission!

- took my Covid PCR test at Boots yesterday and received certificate with negative results today (cost £120). Recommended with easy booking at your nearest Boots which offers the testing service;

- made on-line request to “Gogodoc” and had a 5 minute telephone consultation with a U.K. registered GP at 4:20pm this afternoon with Fit to Fly certificate issued within the hour (cost £72.50). Recommended for responsive service from U.K. based GP pool. Cost is comparable with other U.K. providers of the FtF.

So, this whole process has taken me less than 2 weeks. Thai Embassy in London quickly

approved my visa and CoE. The result of the PCR test was provided within 24 hours. My FtF certificate quickly issued today. So, I will now fly back to Bangkok from Heathrow on Saturday afternoon. Then to endure a 14 day quarantine!

Switzerland now requires a negative Covid PCR test for everybody wanting to take a plane back to Switzerland. Even when coming from Thailand, which is mightily silly. So, does anyone know where I could go in Bangkok to get a PCR test done and have the results within 24 hours?

Hi! Has anyone done the Covid-19 PCR test in Singapore? What documentation did you need from the test to enter Thailand? Thanks!
