Greetings, as per my COE approval, I have to take and pass a RT-PCR test. The testing center tells me that RT-PCR and PCR test are the same. What's your experience on this. I want to do everything right. Could someone confirm on regular PCR test is good enough for COE requirement. Many thanks! J

TLDR : Answer Summary
Users recommend that for traveling to Thailand and meeting the Certificate of Entry (COE) requirements, it is safest to ensure that the COVID-19 test result explicitly states 'RT-PCR.' While there are many types of PCR tests, the critical factor is the certification wording. It's suggested to take no chances and prioritize the RT-PCR designation for a smoother travel experience.

There are many types of PCR tests. It does not matter which one you take... It matter what the certification actually says. Best for it to say "RT-PCR" on it. Will the airline let you fly with only pcr? Yeah, maybe.. But best to be safe.

Take no chances... Make sure its RT-PCR COVID test.
