UPDATE: Subject of needing "Mananging Director" in the Work Permit to get a One Year B Visa Multi-Entry.
My Business Assistant Khun Pam who is very sharp in these matters, called Krabi Labor Ministry about the phrase "Mananging Director" versus just "Director" typed in the Work Permit. The Labor Ministry Officer said they normally only put in "Director" but would change a Work Permit booklette to read "Mananging Director" upon request.
Also Khun Pam called the Kota Bharu Consulate to see if this supposed requirement had spread to Kota Bharu.. The Consulate officer replied that this wording of "Managing Director" was not a requirement in their office. The officer also added that she has not heard of this issue.
(this is not to say that my post is policy in all of Thailand or of all Thai Consulates - and things may change)
