What are reliable transportation options from Bangkok city center to the airport at 4 AM?

Late night airport taxi.

(I have this problem all the time.)

We booked taxi from Bangkok city center to airport at 4am, but i am worried if he actually arrive in time.

So in any case of emergency:

1. Do Grabs works well in midnight?

2. Any popular taxi company that work all night and is reliable and that i can call to in such case?

Trying to take a train from Surat Thani to Chiang Mai. I understand I will have to first take a train from Surat Thani to BKK then another to Chiang Mai? Is this possible right now? Thanks
