Will Thai immigration have records of my old passport dating back to 2012?
Does anyone know if I go to immigration will they have a record of an old passport dating back to 2012 DLT asking for it thanks

There is a warehouse just outside of Bangkok where Immigration and Bangkok Bank have stored the 433,815 copies of my passport, visa and entry stamps.

Yes, i was with my son about 6 years ago and we asked to look at his photos over the years they had them all 20 years worth from when he was a baby.

Why is DLT asking to see a passport from 2012 that has clearly expired by now for a long time? That sounds pretty weird.

OPMikkel Kruse because they are saying that if I can show them it I would not have to go through the whole process of obtaining a driving license to replace my old one which expired in 2013 😂

If you have used immigration for anything back then, then absolutely yes, it exists, a big stack of photocopies of your passport and other things. In a box somewhere in a huge warehouse/storage facility.
Getting them to go physically find 13-14 year old documents? Forget about it 😂.
It's highly unlikely they have anything but the passport data in the system in your file. So, they could probably provide a passport number etc if they felt inclined to.

Newfarang 57 yeah I got the picture now. Because your license expired back then, they for some unfathomable reason require to see your not just old expired passport, but the one before that even. 😂 Good luck man! I really mean that.
Best bet would be to go to a different DLT. You might be lucky and be greeted by someone with logic. And then don't mention your old expired drivers license. Just exchange (if you have a current one plus IDP from home) or take a new one. Lose the headache trying to get a copy of that old thing. (Honestly though! Now you know to keep the old passports etc, forever 😂)

OPMy old license expired 2013 I have been sat in a classroom watching a video for 5 hours now they have decided that they need a copy of my old passport that it was issued on. I thought that if my license expired more than 3 years ago then I have to do it all again. That’s why I was watching the video.

Newfarang 57 that's very odd. Why are they interested in an old passport? Is it because you had a previous license on that passport number and now you need to renew your license but changed your passport?

OPMikkel Kruse basically yes but I have had two new passports since that on expired in 2017 😂.

If you were photographed and fingerprinted when entering your whole immigration record is in the database

OPI have been to immigration they are going to check their system told me to come back tomorrow afternoon 555.

Stephen Howell not necessarily, they lost all their information a few years back because they didn't have enough storage space in their system.
