I'm an Australian, currently in the USA as a tourist who got vaccinated last week with the J&J one shot vaccine for a flight out of LAX on the 15th to Phuket. I successfully submitted the Thailand Pass application, but I'm wondering if there is too many variables to have my application seriously considered for approval. I would have had the vaccine over 14 days ago by the time I fly, but not at the time I submitted the application. I'm not submitting from my home country and there were issues with the Thailand Pass accepting the J&J vaccine as its only one dose and wanted two. I submitted on Monday afternoon so I know I still have up to 5 more days, but each day that goes by, I feel its less likely
TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian tourist currently in the USA, vaccinated with the J&J vaccine, expresses concerns about the approval of their Thailand Pass application, considering the timing of vaccination and potential issues with vaccine acceptance. Community members reassure that approval will be based on flight time, not just application submission, and suggest waiting a few more days before reapplying if needed.
