Hi everyone, my boyfriend (Spanish citizen) and I (Canadian citizen) will be going from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, to Phuket today in the afternoon. We are a bit worried that the citizens of Spain might have some issues such as daily checks by officers and such. Would you say his citizenship would be an issue? We’ve been in Japan (3 weeks) , and then Vietnam (for the last 3 weeks). 

Also, do we need a hotel reservation for every day of our stay to get the free 30-day visa? Thanks a lot!
