Hi,

I need your advice:

My agency will cancel my work permit on the 30th and after that I still want to come back on a tourist visa. Will my non-b still be valid? Or do I have to leave the country/is a border run ok?

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on the validity of their Non-B visa after their work permit is canceled and the possibility of returning to Thailand on a tourist visa. Comments suggest that they must cancel their current extension of stay upon the cancellation of the work permit, and their Non-B visa remains valid until the end of the admitted period stamped in their passport.

If you already visited the Immigration Office and applied for an Extension of Stay permitted up to ../../.. , YOU have to visit the Immigration again with the documents of cancel the work permit and cancel this stay at the same day your work permit will be cancelled.

Join them to the Ministry of Labor, as you say, it is YOUR work permit, not from the agency.

thank you! My agency already has my work permit and I’m not to sure if they would give me the papers since they’re the ones who will cancel it.

Your Single Entry Non Immigrant B visa which you got from a Thai Embassy/Consulate is stamped used on entry and you got a 90 day Admitted until ../../.. period stamped inside your passport. You can stay till the last day of this Admitted until period.

Yes, if you are on the initial days of the visa. But that is something inside your passport and I can not see that. Here examples of both
