Hello. I am new to traveling and visas and have a question:
I entered Thailand for the first time March 7th and my 30 day airport entry visa was issued, good until the 6th April.
I am planning a 4 day trip to Luang Prabang at the start of April. I will be back in Chiang Mai around the end day of my first visa, or a day past.
My question is this: I have a month long hotel rental which started March 16th. I will be showing this upon re-entry for my next 30 day visa. Is this going to be an issue?
And lastly, I am guessing it does not matter if I return the day before my first visa expires, they will re-issue the next 30 day one.
Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user initially inquired about the implications of re-entering Thailand with a month-long hotel rental after traveling to Luang Prabang. They sought clarification on whether showing the hotel rental would cause any issues upon returning, given their first visa exempt entry was valid until April 6th. A commenter explained that the user does not have a formal visa but a 30-day visa exempt entry, which will be canceled upon leaving the country, allowing them to receive a new 30-day visa exemption upon re-entry. They also noted the limits on obtaining multiple visa exempt entries by land.
perfect. I was so busy putting my stuff into a storage unit that I didn’t have time to explore visa options back home. Sounds like I can easily do that in the future.
you can get a single entry tourist visa which is gets you stamped in for 60 days OR a 6 month METV <- multi-entry tourist visa which is good for unlimited 60 day entries/exits during the 6 months it's valid at a thai consulate in the US before you wing your way here
