TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is on a NON-O visa based on marriage and is approaching a border bounce date. They have options to apply for a 2-month extension or use the amnesty. A comment clarifies that applying for a 60-day extension does not affect the validity of the visa, which remains good until its expiration.

To answer the other part of your question

Applying for a 60 day visit thai family extension does NOT in any way affect your visa,

it's still good, it's still valid for unlimited 90 day entries until it's expiration date of Feb 2021.

You are so far away from needing to bounce out and back right now that it's not even worth answering.

NO one knows if the borders will be open by the time your stamp comes up or not.

I'd say wait it out and when it's closer to the expiration date on your stamp ask again
