A user reported their application for a DTV visa at the Thai embassy in Jakarta was rejected within a week, with no reason provided. Community members speculated that the rejection could be due to issues with the application paperwork or biodata. Some mentioned that rejections can vary based on location, suggesting applying elsewhere might yield better results. There were also comments about the frustrations of not receiving feedback from the embassy, leading to doubts about the application process.
Well not only you. Something happened with consular there. Cause I'm get DTV at November. And submit my wife in Jakarta as dependant (follow by my visa). And yesterday visa comes. TR 6 monthes. How it's possible I dont know. Many many people complain about it. Many get 6 monthes even soft power or remote worker no mater. Also many rejects.
I have come to the conclusion that it's not worth doing. Without some type of feedback, or way to correct errors you might have made, it's a fools errand.
yeah I feel the same. I think before they made it an only online process you could get everything checked prior and so there was an opportunity to correct.
Perhaps an issue with the soft power provider you used, the length of course you signed up for or similar. But with such a quick rejection its probably more likely to be an issue with your biodata, usually they cancel the application for this but sometimes the reject it
