How come anytime someone has less then a flawless interaction with immigration members here call it fake or say the person is trolling? Just because your interaction went well it doesn’t mean it does for everyone else
Answer summary
The discussion highlights a common reaction among some members of the community who dismiss others' negative experiences with Thai immigration as insincere or trolling. Several comments reflect on the validity of individual experiences, noting that perceptions can be influenced by personal history, credibility issues, or the tendency for people to react defensively. Examples of real-life negative interactions at immigration raise questions about fairness and understanding of the expat experience when crossing borders, while others humorously critique the 'expert' opinions of those who claim significant knowledge on the topic without personal experience.

I had a double terrible experience leaving last week. First check the lady looked in my pp. Saw a Cambodia stamp... started scrutinizing it. I said... 3 years ago, ok? She threw my pp back across the desk then actually got up and walked off.
Then on bag check they stopped my tray. Pulled my ticket out and looked at it. Waved another guy over who looked in my pp again stopping at the cambodian stamp. He just blank stared straight into my eyes. I said really slow. ARAI NA KHAP. Then he plonked it back in the tray and walked away, a guy walked up behind me tapped me on the shoulder and said I could go.
Just seemed like pure harassment with nothing else to do. DMK airport and it was empty.
'less then (sic) a flawless interaction with immigration'. This is a genuine concern for all and something that you should be taking up directly with Thai Immigration Bureau.
While some posts are not credible the majority of them probably are genuine. I can understand not putting your name up as these boards are monitored by immigration etc. Everyone's experience can differ and in different contexts and travel history.
They’re all immigration experts yet at the same time they advertise having little to no interaction with immigration officers when crossing borders. Interesting concept. 😂
