Why are people asking for pictures of visa exemption stamps in Thailand expat groups?

While we can't speak for other groups, in our communities, we prioritize privacy by blurring out any identifiable information on visa stamps, such as:

- Passport number

- Signature

- Visa number

When we work with clients, we do request photos of visa stamps to accurately assess the services we can provide and the associated costs.

If you need to share uncensored images, ensure they are sent only to trusted companies and avoid posting them publicly without proper censorship.

Many are not aware but some passports include their passport number on all pages, and some visa stamps also include identifiable information.

They dont need pictures

Mostly so they can understand how to respond. You'd be amazed at the number of people who have no clue what the stamp in their passport means
