TLDR : Answer Summary
In Phuket, it's generally unnecessary to hire an agent for filling out the 90-day immigration forms, as many users recommend completing the process online, which takes only a few minutes. Though some people offer to assist for a fee (ranging around 1500 to 3000 baht), the consensus is that doing it yourself is easier, quicker, and free, especially after the first submission that may require a visit to the immigration office.
90 DAY REPORTING RESOURCES / SERVICES
  • Use the trusted Thailand 90 Day Reporting Serviceto get your in-person report done and mailed to you for as low as 375 THB (even if the online system doesn't work for you).
  • For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
  • Join the Thai Visa Advice Facebook Group to ask your questions, and get advice from others.

Takes 3 minutes to fill in the TM47 form and not long to lodge it, do it yourself, way better and cheaper than an agent. It is a free, so why pay someone else to do it for you.

i thought it was tm7 and tm30 to apply for extra 40 days on top of your 60 days on entry

you mentioned 90 day forms, the only form for 90 days is the TM47 for a 90 day report. If you are talking about an extension it is a TM7 form, and the TM30 is for reporting your address. If you could be more specific with your posts in the future, it will avoid confusion. Also you will only got another 30 days extension on your original 60 day visa exempt stamp, not 40 days and it will cost you 1,900 baht.

Based on the questions I’ve seen here in the last two years people don’t have the initiative nor D-I-Y attitude. Pay someone end of story

I did my first one online 3 years ago, but it seems to have changes in most provinces. If you are between 15 and 7 days before your due date, give it a try. The worst that can happen is it's rejected and you still have time to go to the immigration office to file it in person.

If you make a record of the exact answers you provide, it's really quick the second time. Good luck.

Some Immigration Offices have their own version of the TM7 so if you complete a downloaded one you might have to transcribe to their form, better to wait, it only takes a couple of minutes
