I deposited my top-up 800k for my Retirement Visa on October 20th...

Can we Renew the Retirement Visa on the 60th day OR is it the day after?

With October having 31 days, so what would be the day I am allowed to Renew my Retirement Visa?

19th OR 20th?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can renew your Retirement Visa on December 20th, which is two calendar months after your deposit of 800,000 THB on October 20th. It's recommended not to wait until the last few days to apply for the extension, as you may need additional documents.

And it's Best to NOT 🚫 wait until the last few days to apply for the one year extension of stay as retired. There might be a missing document which you must go get...the one year extension of stay is ADDED to your current Non O Visa ending date. So you do NOT lose any Days by going early to apply.

it's not 60 days it's 2 calendar months (date to date)

SO

what that means is, if you deposited funds on Oct 20th the soonest you can apply for a new year extension and meet the 2 month seasoning requirement would be Dec 20th

and remember they will check you met the seasoning requirements last year for the current extension you're on if you used banked money method too,

so you will need to show you kept the funds in the account for 3 months after the extension was granted and that the balance never went below 400K baht the rest of the year 🙂

just jumping in here…. Are you allowed to just set up Separate account with the 400kb and leave it… or do you have to show activity in the account?

@Shawn *******
totally no issue having a dedicated account for the banked money method and leaving it untouched.

awesome and then one more question while I have you…… upon retirement …. Is it “ and/or??” The 800k / 65k ? If I buy a house that’s payed for do I need the 65k a month income ?
Tod *********
nothing personal
@Shawn *******
but you need to make your OWN topic as you're asking stuff not related to this post AT ALL 🙁

It's 800K baht banked OR 65K baht transferred in to the country each month every month for the previous 12 months before you apply for a year extension <- meaning you can't use monthly transfers for the first year extension

AND

property has NOTHING to do with meeting the proof of funds to get a marriage or retirement extension, doesn't count for a baht toward you meeting the financial requirements
