Yesterday landed in Bangkok (BKK), my husband's third entry into the country and my fourth. There were only women at the security checkpoint. After I showed my DTV, the officer pressed a button without saying anything or asking any questions. A man came in, and she told him it was a DTV and told him to follow him. We walked to the corner, where he started putting stickers on the cameras saying "no filming." While he was doing this, a short woman came in and asked what was wrong. He said DTV, her eyes widened, and she smiled at us. I told her, "DTV visa, good visa, multiple-entry visa," and she shook her head and started cursing at him. He said we were from Vietnam, and she said, "DTV," "DTV," and something in Thai. Anyway, she and the others explained something to him, for about three minutes, and he promptly stamped our passports and let us through priority security. Well, it seems they still don't all know what DTV is.
