What was the experience of your first entry on a DTV visa in Thailand?

First Entry on DTV Soft power, just today.
After reading all those post on entries via BKK and interrogation stories, I was nervous, especially dealing with female IOs. I had 20,000 bhat ready, I had QRs ready from TDAC & Thim, letter from Mauy Thai gym FITFAC ready and print out DTV. I was dressed in semi casual attire with button down shirt and pants. Even after long travel from US, I was not in the best shape.

I got female IO, and she only took 197 seconds, I timed it. She returned my passport with 6month entry.  I did not believe if she even did the eye contact. Just pointed for finger-prints machine.

I just wanted to provide my input.

I got this from a very reliable source for people applying from the US....For DTV applications in the US, there is generally no meaningful difference in approval rates between a 9-month and a 12-month program. Both are typically considered sufficient supporting documents for the visa application.  However, if you plan to apply through stricter embassies or consulates, such as those in China or Israel, a 12-month program is strongly recommended and may be required to strengthen the application. In those locations, consular officers tend to scrutinize the educational component more closely, so a longer program can significantly improve the chances of approval.
