Question: Some embassies say that your photo must be taken by a smartphone (UK Embassy) and scanned version of your photo is not accepted (New Zealand Embassy). What kind of photos did you submit on the evisa website? We are thinking about Malaysia, Jakarta or Cambodia but their websites don't say anything about this. TIA

Answer summary

There is some variability in requirements for visa application photos depending on the embassy. For eVisa applications related to Malaysia, Jakarta, or Cambodia, users suggested using professional studio photos or high-quality smartphone photos. While some embassies, like the UK and New Zealand, have specific rules, the eVisa websites for Malaysia, Jakarta, and Cambodia do not explicitly state their requirements.
