My friend is in country and unable to get back to Pattaya his retirement visa expires on 18/4. Will it be ok for him to do this whenever he returns ?? Or will he run risk of fine for overstay and not be able to apply for another retirement visa. Any help be greatly appreciated.
TLDR : Answer Summary
If your friend's retirement visa is set to expire on 18/4 and he is currently unable to return to Pattaya, he needs to take action before the expiration date. It is crucial for him to apply for a new Extension of Stay prior to that date to avoid any overstaying penalties, which could complicate future visa applications.
