What should I put for employment, occupation, and salary on the E visa application if I'm not currently working?
E visa manual ask for employment, occupation and salary. We are not working, travelling Asia and applying for soft power. Since it has a red asterisk, I understand can not left be blank, so what do I have to put? I do not want to lie, just not sure what to say there (posting anonymously cause of family related issues) Thanxs!
Answer summary
The user is applying for an E visa and needs to fill out the employment, occupation, and salary fields but is not currently working as they are traveling in Asia. They seek advice on how to fill out these sections truthfully without leaving them blank, as indicated by the red asterisk requirement. Respondents suggest stating that the user is not currently employed and providing general information about past employment or skills.

Those forms are basically a template for all visa types. Some items aren't applicable. That said, surely you have a skill or previous employment and can enter some general information. For example state not currently employed, state your occupation and typical salary.
