ORIGINAL POSTERHey everyone, does anyone in Bangkok have contacts for the DTV visa? I’m specifically looking at the Muay Thai option since there’s no clear info on the tax situation for digital nomads.
From what I understand, once you stay in Thailand for over 6 months, you become a tax resident, meaning any income earned while in TH is taxable. I haven’t seen any official clarification stating otherwise. Has anyone here been asked to pay taxes or provide extra documents while on the DTV?

You misunderstand. Even if you were to become Thai Tax Resident tax is not assessable on all global income. Only that remitted to Thailand and subject to Double Taxation Agreents and allowances. Consult a tax expert.
