Entered Bangkok for the second time with the DTV. Wasn’t even asked for the printout of the visa. Just showed my passport and got all the stamps! Very smooth process.

Check your stamp. You should always hand your passport over with your visa to ensure there are no mistakes. Lazy and bored IOs don't always read everything on the screen and stamp you in visa-exempt
