TLDR : Answer Summary
When flying into Bangkok with a dog under the Test and Go program, it's essential to find suitable accommodation. Guests are advised to book a pet-friendly SHA hotel. However, direct confirmation with the hotel is crucial as many listed as pet-friendly on booking platforms may not accept pets upon arrival. Boarding services are available, and reviewing past community discussions can provide additional insights on this topic.

Le Meridien Bangkok is pet friendly and will let you keep it for your T&G night. We brought our cat from HK to BKK a month ago. Shout if you want any help with the Import Permit (easy) or other details.

make sure you call the hotel to check pet friendly. I have just been on road trip around Central and southern Thailand and 60% of hotels booked through agoda as pet friendly dont accept pets.

Stay at a pet friendly SHA hotel

Filter didnt filter out the hotels. Most places had 5 listing's only 1 accepted pets. Was very time consuming to call hotels to cancel and change.

well that goes without saying. Hotel booking apps will provide that info. Just select in your filters. Very easy

Cant certain animals transmit covid?

Are they being tested, or just ignored?

I think that's going to be a problem, but I would be more worried about what happens to the dog if you were to test positive.
