My wife has a scholarship to visit UK and we're going for a couple of months. Unfortunately my visa will expire right in the middle of it. Is it better to apply for a non o from UK, or come back visa exempt and start from there? Will I need a flight out for the latter, even though my passport is filled with non-o's and their extensions?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is inquiring about the best course of action regarding their visa situation while accompanying their wife who has a scholarship to the UK. They are considering whether to apply for a Non-O visa from the UK or return to Thailand on a visa-exempt basis. The discussion includes suggestions about visiting local visa offices for early renewal, returning on a 60-day visa exemption with the option to extend, and the possibility of applying for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) while in the UK.

Apply for the DTV while you're there. Good excuse to switch ๐Ÿ‘

is it worth it? Seems a lot of benefit with no annual extensions and re-entry permit, but is it suitable since I'm living here on the non-o? I don't want any problems

I don't see what problems could possibly occur. It's a great deal indeed, I would take it.

Return on a 60 days visa exempt which you can extend another 30 days at the local immigration office. That'll give you 90 days.

Come back on the DTV, no deposit needed to stay here all year

Hi, thanks. I asked and they said they could only do it within 1 month, which doesn't work unfortunately.
