Need advice ASAP.

Currently at Thailand /Malaysia border. Have 30 day extension which is still valid for 2 days and have stamp and signature from immigration police captain. Police captain at the border is saying I have the stamp but no details of my extension on his computer. He's now saying that I have 30 day overstay now and I can't leave to go to Malaysia. Does this sound like I should be paying a "fine" to him?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently at the Thailand/Malaysia border with a valid 30-day visa extension that is confirmed by an immigration police captain, but the border police are claiming that there are no details of the extension in their system, resulting in an alleged overstay.
