Applied for e-visa but my flights to Thailand aren’t direct

I am a resident of the UK (not a National) and I just submitted my Thai Evisa and I’m only now realising that one of the requirements is a flight direct to Thailand from the U.K. on the application I attached my flight itinerary from Bali, will this cause a rejection? I’m viewing Malaysia Indonesia and Singapore before Thailand.

Does anyone have any experience with the London embassy? How long does it take for the visa and are they strict about issues like this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK resident submitted an e-visa application for Thailand but attached a flight itinerary from Bali instead of a direct flight from the UK. There's concern about potential rejection due to not meeting the requirement for a direct flight. Community members suggest that the embassy may contact the applicant if issues arise and recommend providing additional flight documents or an onward travel ticket.

Seeing as how you're the CEO of Taco Bell, I imagine that you have the resources to get this question answered by yourself.

If they don't accept what you submitted they will email you.

You can try submitting your flights before showing the full chain of flights to Thailand. Or you can Google "onward travel ticket" and basically rent a real ticket to submit as proof.

You wont get an application sent email, you need to check the status of your application at your evisa account, or email them at

you should be able to see your status in the evisa portal. If they have issues it will change status to something like "additional documents" and if you don't receive an email check your spam folder. If nothing after a day when that status shows then try messaging them on Facebook messenger.

But the London embassy is very fast. They usually issue visas within 3 working days.
