What should I do if my flight ticket for a dependent visa application is less than four weeks away?
Hi, I'm in the process of applying for a dependent visa from London. My partner already has her DVT. I have been asked for additional documents including my flight ticket. The request is that my flight should be over 4 weeks away but my ticket to Bangkok is 3 1/2 weeks away. There was plenty of time when I initially applied and I didn't anticipate the need for a further 4 weeks. Has anyone else had this problem and could they advise? Thanks in advance.

I believe it's suggested that you have a flight no earlier than 4 weeks. Certainly isn't mandatory. If your ticket is in three and a half weeks I suggest you submit it pronto.
