What should I do if I didn't receive a departure stamp when leaving Thailand?

Hello everyone!

I flew out of the country a week ago via BKK Airport. My DTV stamp is valid until March 2026. However, they did not stamp my passport with a departure seal.

I contacted the consulate here, but they didn’t have any useful information. I emailed Immigration (saraban_imm@police.go.th) on the 24th, but of course I haven’t received a reply yet due to Christmas.

Just curious, has anyone else experienced leaving the country without receiving a departure stamp at the airport?

Have the best holdidays!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the user's concern about not receiving a departure stamp at BKK Airport when leaving Thailand despite having a valid DTV stamp until March 2026. Replies indicate that exit stamps may not be necessary, especially when using Automatic Border Control, which does not provide stamps. The user is left without clear guidance after attempting to contact the consulate and emailing Immigration.

NO idea what you call your DTV stamp.

IF that is the stamp you got on entry: Admitted until xx March 2026 it became void when leaving Thailand.

Automatic gates do not stamp passports, if you love stamps, visit next time the Immigration booth and hand over your passport to an Immigration Officer.

No need for exit stamp. At the Automatic Border Control you don't get stamp anyway. Btw, immigration does not have Christmas holidays.
