I flew out of the country a week ago via BKK Airport. My DTV stamp is valid until March 2026. However, they did not stamp my passport with a departure seal.
I contacted the consulate here, but they didn’t have any useful information. I emailed Immigration (saraban_imm@police.go.th) on the 24th, but of course I haven’t received a reply yet due to Christmas.
Just curious, has anyone else experienced leaving the country without receiving a departure stamp at the airport?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about leaving Thailand without receiving a departure stamp, as they had used an automatic border control gate, which does not provide a departure stamp. Several community members confirmed that using such gates typically results in no stamp being issued, and that exit records are maintained in the immigration system. There’s an emphasis on not needing a physical departure stamp for proof of exit, as electronic records are reliable.
It's not that I love stamps (which look good nevertheless) but that I see the stamp as something I can use as proof of having left the country on a specific date.
Thanks for all the reasuring answers. I wish you all a great new year, amigos! 👍
IF that is the stamp you got on entry: Admitted until xx March 2026 it became void when leaving Thailand.
Automatic gates do not stamp passports, if you love stamps, visit next time the Immigration booth and hand over your passport to an Immigration Officer.
