Hi,

My flight to Thailand has been cancelled but our airline have put us onto the next available flight (which is on the same day), but this means our flight number has changed. I’ve already applied for my Thai visa where I put my old flight number in… is this going to cause any errors? What should I do? Any advice is really appreciated!

TLDR : Answer Summary
If your flight number changes due to a cancellation but you are still traveling to Thailand on the same day, it should not impact your Thai visa application. The arrival flight number is not considered essential for the visa, while the flight number related to the ThailandPass is more important. You have a window of up to 72 hours to enter Thailand based on your original flight schedule, and you should ensure that your pre-flight PCR test results are still valid. Update any necessary accommodations or transfers accordingly.

They understand that flights can be changed frequently at the moment. They won't worry about an insignificant deviation like this from your visa, and as Stuart says you can arrive up to 72 hours after the scheduled time without any change to your ThailandPass. Just remember to update your hotel/transfer/test and make sure your preflight PCR result is still within 72 hours of your departure.

Arrival flight for Thai visa is irrelevant. Your flight number for the ThailandPass is. You are allowed a change of up to 72 hours after your original flight to enter using that pass.
