What should a Dependant Visa holder do if the PRINCIPAL Non-Immigrant "O" visa holder (extension based on age 50 years++) passes away? What is the general process or best to do if the Dependant Visa Holder would wish to remain in Thailand possibly for longer or at least for some time to take care of matters such as funeral etc.?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If the Principal Non-Immigrant 'O' visa holder passes away, the Dependant Visa holder can continue to stay in Thailand until the end of their current visa extension. They should ensure any necessary arrangements, such as funeral services, are handled within this timeframe. If the Dependant wishes to remain longer, they may need to explore alternative visa options or apply for a new visa before the current one expires.
