Applied for DTV recently as Digital Nomad, but I was asked about providing Letter of Confirmation stating that the applicant is permitted to work remotely β¦ signed by authorized person and bear the official company seal.
I have my own one person company providing consultancy. Should I authorize myself? I donβt have a seal as Iβm fully digital. What kind of document do they exactly ask for? Does anyone know?
Thanks from the mountain

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand, you may be required to submit a Letter of Confirmation stating that you are allowed to work remotely. As a self-employed consultant, you can authorize yourself in the letter, despite not having an official company seal. Other users have successfully submitted similar letters, explaining their status as company owners or directors and clarifying that they will not engage with Thai businesses directly.
Correct, you write a letter explaining that you are the owner and you give yourself permission to work abroad. I did that and it was accepted.
There are others who have posted doing the same thing.

Write a letter on company letterhead stating you are a current employee and authorizing yourself to work remotely in Thailand. Also note that you'll not be interacting with Thai businesses or individuals.

People have written to themselves as employees from themselves as Directors of the company authorising remote work from Thailand. The company stamp, seal or "Chop" is pretty much an Asian thing these days.
