DTV APPLICANTS FROM THE UAE.

I applied for my DTV workcation on the 31st of August. Fingers crossed and hoping for good news. I just want to know from previous UAE applicants, what is the timeline generally like? I am aware it might all not be the same, but i wanted to get an idea of an average. Thank you

Update: 02 September - email from from The Royal Thai Embassy / Consulate requesting for more documents.

They were the standard and expected document request - letter from company stating position and salary. I requested HR to combine a few additional documents as i have a 18 year relationship with the company. They also asked for ministry issued employment contract + trade license. 

So time between submission and request for more documents is roughly 1.5 days, which is quite suprising, but the wait feels like forever.

yes.. I mean I had all of the documents anyways including the police clearance from both my home country and UAE. It now a matter of processing and what additional documents they need from me to support the application.

no it's an either or. Since i had mine for my residence visa renewal, i provided both. Otherwise the one from UAE is more than enough

DTV_BegPecker yes I am a resident with an employment visa. My UAE police clearance was a day old. Got it as soon as i applied for it. My home country clearance was 2 months.
