TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about the interpretation of a '3 days to process' timeline for a visa application submitted at a Thai consulate, specifically if it means receiving the visa by Wednesday when submitted on Monday. Comments clarify that submissions before 11 AM typically allow for passport retrieval two days later after 2 PM, meaning a Monday application would be returned on Wednesday afternoon. There are additional reminders to check specific visa requirements and to be aware of local holidays that may affect processing.

yes, TR...more of a semantic thing of what 3 days to process is as it cd be interpreted as 3 days after the day you submit..but that seems not to be the case (it seems to be 3 days inclusive of submission day)

Where ?

AND be absolutely sure you have read the Visa requirements for the Thai Embassy or Consulate where you are making application...as listed on their Thai Embassy or Consulate website.

They must be met exactly.

And be watching for any Thai Holidays or Holidays recognized by the country you where you are applying.

yep, did that but sadly the one week closure this week was not added to their homepage till middle of last week and was not in their list of holidays.

Other details on homepage seem accurate as mirrored in this notice also outside the PP consulate.

sorry about the closure this week...

Their requirements for the SETV are simple to get approved...

Much better than other Thai Embassy websites...ie.. Vietnam.

wanna say where you got the "three days to process" phrase?

If you're talking about visa processing at a thai consulate (for example Vientiane OR Phnom Penh) that means you turn in your paperwork one day in the morning before 11 and you get your passport back TWO days later after 2PM <- so yes, That'd be apply Monday morning get the passport back Wednesday afternoon
