Does anybody know...

1). What is the Thai calendar year for year 1990?

2). There was a time back in the day when, if you obtained a Thai drivers license it was issued valid for life (no expiry date)... what was theThai calendar year that issued for life was no longer issued and they moved to an expiry date pls?

I would be most grateful for the answer, much appreciated.

Just add 543 years onto the Western calendar as this was the year Buddha was born 543 BC.

It is easy to remember: 1990 plus 543 Jahre = 2533.

(So now is 2024 + 543 =2567)

I have a DL already issued 1990 I don't hv it with me right now... that would mean about 2532. Just wondering if it was a lifetime issued licence or an expiry one

It's now 2567 so do the maths. A DL (first) is now 2 years then after that you get one every 5 years if renewed.
