Just letting other people know for future information, to apply for the non o visa based on family via the thai consulate in italy the required funds in bank are 550 euro ( confirmed today) but always double check you're self to be 100 per cent sure as might be different agent and might change the amount at any given time😊

just make sure you leave every 90 days. With the multi entry Non-Imm-O family visa, you can get almost 15 months stay out of it

if you ever plan to apply for the 1-year extension, make sure you got your marriage approved in Thailand. At the immigration, you will need a freshly printed Thai rose bordered marriage certificate from the Amphur

the non o visa single entry is 150 euros and the multiple entery is 175 euros. Then for proof of funds In bank 550 euros which is the equivalent too 20k bhat depend on the rate but again always check with the consulate before applying.

no I have the application pending and also called to double check , i have applied for the non o based on family as I'm married and showed over 500k baht in my account just to make sure also paid 175 euros for the non o multiple entry. Have you ever applied for a non o based on family / spouse in italy ?
Phil ******
@Josh ******
ok thats why I was confused as for O visa based on marriage you need ฿400k in the bank 2 months prior so don't think 550 Euro is ฿400k.

@Phil *****
you don't need the 400,000.- THB in the bank for the VISA application. However you will need the 400.000.- THB deposit for the application to the 1-year EXTENSION

for myself I'll be leaving every 90 days and then returning so I won't have to go to immigration but if come in on single entery after you change to the year , you have to report every 90 days to you're local immigration, but again please check all this information with you're local immigration.

@Josh ******
ok but when will you be putting in the ฿400k?
