Want to share my experience at Muang Thong Thani immigration today. I arrived at around 730 am (would've been earlier but I went to CW first and was told to go to MT) and to my surprise even just from the first spot where you line up, it was really well organized. I was observing how the immigration officers were responding to people's inquiry and I must say they are quite helpful.

After less than 10 mins of waiting outside, we were sent to the 4th floor of the parking area (as I realized that the 2nd and 3rd are already full of ppl) with chairs waiting. Even though it was hot there was a good breeze circulating around which made the waiting more bearable.

From the time that we were sat down in the parking area at around 8am, I only got to see the immigration officer by 11:45 and completely done by 12:15pm.

Considering there was around 750 ppl, social distancing was practiced nicely, the officers were well organized and the initial pictures from last week with all the crazy commotion is gone.

I'm still wishing that they would've just waived it off but I saw with my own eyes that they were trying.

Btw, for those that are getting a 60 day extension based on marriage or family, you have an option to extend for 30 days first, then come back again for the 60, you cannot do it the other way around unless you get a letter from your embassy (their words).

So to conclude, I tip my hat off to the MT immigration office for a job well done.
