today i went to MTT to do my first covid extension (i arrived here on visa exemption and with tourism purpose). I arrived at 8:20 and in front of me there was 60 people already. but its quite smooth and in less than 1h i had my under consideration stamp.

have a question about it. i have to go back on 9Apr.

can you tell me what is the process? do i need to bring same documents and copies and fill in all papers again or just go with passport?

also they told me to register online for it. can you help me to understand which one should choose?

thank you 🙏

Answer summary

The user shares their experience at MTT for a COVID extension and inquires about the necessary steps for future visits, specifically whether to bring the same documents and registration details. Comments clarify that the user will need to return to the same counter to finalize their stamp, and provide guidance on selecting the appropriate counter based on their visa situation.

Here's the way those choices work

IF you bought a tourist VISA from a thai consulate BEFORE you came here (no matter when that was) you select Counter J (Extension by Tourist Visa TR)

IF you showed up here without having bought a visa at a thai consulate and were stamped in for free when you came here (no matter when that was) you want Counter K

You go to same counter to 'close' your "under consideration" stamp.
