MTT - got my covid relief extension loop closed today (Feb 2020 entry, USA - tourist) Line out the front door with two people checking paperwork before allowed to enter, atypical for MTT. Then a couple mentioned everyone was told to leave yesterday due to an emergency. Health scare?

Went to the 3rd floor and asked for online booking proof. Only 2 people waiting and 8 staffers jabbering… 20min later was out the door… only to see more people getting confusing signals from the two paperwork checkers at entry. “The last time I did this…”

Suggest you have all paperwork printed and completed before entering

Answer summary

The user shares their experience obtaining a COVID relief extension at MTT, noting an unusually long line and a two-person check before entry. They mention an emergency that caused a temporary closure the day before. After arriving on the 3rd floor, they were asked for online booking proof and reported a relatively quick processing time despite some confusion at the entry point. The user advises having all paperwork printed and completed prior to arrival at MTT.
