I’m planning a vacation to Sri Lanka at the end of December and need advice on applying for the Digital Tourist Visa (DTV) in Colombo. Could someone share insights on the process? Specifically:

1. What documents do I need to provide?

2. Do I need to book an appointment, or is it a walk-in process?

Any additional tips or recent experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Answer summary

To apply for the Digital Tourist Visa (DTV) in Colombo, you need to provide specific documents for your application. It is an online process, and it is advised to check a recent successful applicant's post for details on required submissions. Booking an appointment isn't necessary, as applications can be submitted online, according to information from the Thai Embassy in Colombo.

I contacted the Thai Embassy in Colombo and from my understanding you have to do it online as they referred me to the website to so online and also contacted India Embassy and only does it if you are a Indian national.
