I’m planning a vacation to Sri Lanka at the end of December and need advice on applying for the Digital Tourist Visa (DTV) in Colombo. Could someone share insights on the process? Specifically:

1. What documents do I need to provide?

2. Do I need to book an appointment, or is it a walk-in process?

Any additional tips or recent experiences would be greatly appreciated!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for the Digital Tourist Visa (DTV) in Colombo, it's important to know that the application must be completed online. Recent applicants have shared their experiences and required documents in community posts. It's advisable to check these resources for detailed insights. Additionally, the Thai Embassy in Colombo confirms that applying online is mandatory, and no appointment is needed as the process does not require a walk-in.

I contacted the Thai Embassy in Colombo and from my understanding you have to do it online as they referred me to the website to so online and also contacted India Embassy and only does it if you are a Indian national.
