Also I currently am here on day 5 of my initial 30 day, is it advantageous to apply early or should I wait until last week ?
My intention is to stay as long as legally possible 🙂
Thanks in advance, love the group

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post asks about immigration offices near Pattaya and whether it's better to apply for a visa extension early or to wait until the last week of the initial 30-day stay. Responses highlight that the best practice is to research suitable visa options based on the purpose of stay and that there is no real advantage to applying early, particularly in Pattaya, where it’s suggested to apply when about 10 days remain on the current entry stamp.
First I will do the visa exempt extension of 30 days, (60 days total) thats when my flight ticket is back home… but when I’m able to make use of the covid extend I will change flight, thats the plan. Thanks for all tips, very helpful. Much appreciated😀
A 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19? Maybe, maybe not. My opinion is to apply for it after he applies for the 30 day extension of stay based on tourism within the proper time frame. If he gets it, great, if not, they'll just verbally reject his application

There is no advantage going early (especially in pattaya) because Jomtien usually tells people to come and get their one 30 day extension when they have 10 days or so left on their current stamp.
