TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses various experiences of individuals who have applied for a medical DTV (Thai visa). One commenter notes that they submitted a doctor's letter on official letterhead and received approval within five days, while another mentions ongoing medical treatment since their application. There is a note on the variability of experiences, indicating that outcomes can differ widely among applicants.

Everyone who has applied under medical have a different experience Some have 1 dental appointment and are successful Others have 6 or more medical and are unsuccessful. A search in this group may give you a better idea of how things worked for others

All I submitted for my DTV was a letter from my doctor I see in Bangkok. She said I was a patient of hers and the hospital, it had my passport number and my hospital ID number. It was on an official hospital letterhead and signed by her. I wasn't asked for any other documents and was approved in 5 days.

you don’t get a visa from a hospital.

Hospitals do not offer the DTV like say a Muay Thai or Cookery School. You will need to find a hospital or clinic who helps with the documentation or at least gives the documentation you need once you have booked treatment and appointments.

Larger international hospitals have their own immigrstion services in situ such as Bumrungrad bit O have not heard of them helping with the DTV. Most medical soft power seems to have been DIY from posts in here.it woukd also be good to know what the particular embassy the application woukd be made at will accept as documentation too

the hospital confirms that you’ll see a doctor there for medical treatment including your next appointment(s). I have to go for kidney transplant test every 3 months and my doc wrote that on official paper with stamp and signature which the embassy accepted

Quite a few have, if you search here. Saw one yesterday, actually.
