Has anyone experienced a DTV visa border bounce to Laos by train? I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experience, as this is my first time extending my DTV visa.

The train goes all the way to Khamsavath station in Vientiane now, once daily from Bangkok and separately, from Udon Thani.
Just spend a night or two in Vientiane and then return.
