TLDR : Answer Summary
The post outlines the recent approval of a Business Owner visa from the Sydney consulate, detailing the timeline from submission to approval, which took about 12 days. Key documents included a photo ID, bank statements, a professional portfolio, and registration documents. The applicant also shared tips on preemptively applying to avoid potential rule changes, sparking comments from others about their own experiences and questions regarding documentation and entry dates.
Awesome. Doing mine this week via Sydney. Do you just have a self employed ABN or you are a director of a PTY LTD? Did they ask for any proof of earnings or happy with savings plus portfolio and statement saying can work remotely? (I’m director of my PTY LTD company and also have a seperate self employed ABN. Arriving January but also want to sort it incase rules changed! Thanks in advance
I have not submitted mine yet but as he stated in his post that was sufficient enough for him to get his approved. I will be giving 3 months for the balance and attaching some invoices/will get some client contracts and will write employment contract stating remote work etc . Company/ABN/ACN registration. Links to my websites and a bit about how I run my businesses and make income…flight dates. Should be enough by the sounds of it 👍
just self employed. I just went to the ABN lookup website and generated the pdf for my ABN and attached that with my portfolio and remote work policy. I just submitted my bank statement which had income from PayPal. No proof of earning otherwise asked for (I had invoices to give if they wanted)
It was approved today the 2nd of Nov? They're working on the weekend? I submitted my application last Sunday 27th Oct, it's currently sitting at Pending Approval, anxiously waiting . . .
