ORIGINAL POSTER
Visa approved for my wife and I (she’s a dependent).

I own my own businesses but found that the paperwork to apply as an employee was way easier and less hassle.

Would highly recommend for any business owners to apply as an employee of your own company.

I applied from the London embassy. I’m a U.K. passport holder and I have a company in the UAE. Overall the process took around 4 weeks for my wife and I combined.

Any questions drop them below happy to answer.

Yes, same here! They clearly prefer you to be an employee rather than self-employed or a business owner. I also succeeded as an "employee".
