What is the limit for obtaining a tourist visa from Savannakhet, Laos?

If I'm flying back into Thailand over a six month period is there any limits on how many times I fly in, I plan to use Thailand as my base and visit other countries in Asia.

There definitely is a limit to the number of tourist visas a consulate will issue before you get warning stamped.

It seems to vary from consulate to consulate and Vientiane will issued 3 or 4 before they stamp you.

Now how you've managed to pull 7 tourist visas in the same passport from the same thai consulate I got no idea :O .

BUT be that as it may, there definitely IS a limit and at some point you will get the warning stamp in your passport..

You should be ok for 1 more. After 3 or 4 they might stamp your passport that you wont be issued another one from that consulate. Try mixing it up and using a different consulate. I would suggest going to Vientiene rather than Savanakhet.
