TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the limits on entering and exiting Thailand after multiple visits and a recent extension. Comments suggest that there is no official limit on entries, but frequent travelers may face questioning at passport control. A recommendation is made to consider obtaining a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa for longer stays.

David Broadfoot in the US you can ONLY get a year-long, O-A visa from the thai consulates in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Washington DC. None of the other honorary thai consulates (of which there are a LOT) can issue it

Get the Multiple Entry Tourist Visa, valid for6 months and on each entry you get 60 days of stay, before you make your way to Thailand.

Get a Single Entry Tourist visa after you leave in March, get 60 days on entry and you can extend this with another 30 days at Immigration Office, this will bring you to Jun.

The Multiple Entry Tourist Visa you get in your country of residence or at the nearest Thai Consulate from Thailand, in Perth Australia.

There is no official limit entering country.. some people get questioned at passport control upon arrival after just a few entries. Some are not questioned yet with more than several entries..

I guess you may get non-O-A (or non-o being over 50) if you qualify the requirement. This is the visa for long term, but you don't have to live in Thailand. And much less hustle..
