TLDR : Answer Summary
An Indonesian national inquiring about the easiest way to obtain a long-term visa for Thailand. They are considering either securing a job in Bangkok or enrolling in a study program for a visa. Community advice suggests checking the Thai Embassy for visa options and highlights challenges in finding employment and the complexities of obtaining an education visa.
Not sure where you quote the 90days from? Indonesians currently can enter visa exempt for 60days, unless you add on a 30d extension on top of it.
Bangkok wouldn't be cheap.
You can't have an education visa and work at the same time technically. Also getting an ED visa varies from insitutions, some can convert from tourist visa, some you need to apply from an embassy. Don't just come and expect everything will be sorted out within 60d. Do your homework first.
Yes, that’s what I’ve been doing 🙏🏾 researching everything & ask around. I’ve been a frequent visitor since way back in 2016, feels like a second home already. Let me know if you can share more, Thanks.
Are you planning to work or study? Getting a job in Thailand is not going to be easy. Another option would be the DTV as a digital nomad, however, your clients cannot be Thais.
: Again, you have to decide what your intention of staying long term in Thailand is. Work or study? For DTV, you need to show savings of 500,000THB in your bank during application.
Both actually, but I dont think I can get just enrolled in a Uni without earning some money there. I know, its not easy. White people seems to b living there easy, not me as un-rich Asian.
