Looking after some friendly advice with regards to what visas I can come to Thailand on and how to stay as long as possible, please.
My partner has moved to Thailand to work. Unfortunately I do not have a degree yet so I am unable to find work. So I am looking how to stay long-term with the best visa.
Eventually my degree will finish and this shouldn’t be an issue forever. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to privately message if you wish.
Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on long-term visa options for staying in Thailand, as they do not hold a degree and cannot work. Suggestions from the community include applying for an Education Visa if they plan to study, as well as the Special Tourist Visa that allows for a stay of up to 270 days. It is also noted that without marriage or being over 50, options are limited, and benefits of a Non-B Visa were mentioned. Community members encouraged sharing further details through private messages.
If you are at university here you can apply for an education visa, other than that if you arent willing to pay for elite visa then there's not much available to you
You use the word partner so I assume you’re not married. If so you can’t piggyback off their visa. If you’re not over 50 then options are limited for long term stays. There are options for educational visas where you learn a language or Muay Thai, or a volunteer visa where you help out with a charity or institution.
For the education visa you’d need to select a language school or Muay Thai school and they apply on your behalf. Same for the volunteer visa. You’d need to find an institution that would be willing to accept you as a volunteer. I suspect you’ll have a few PMs from Visa Agents willing to get you either for a fee.
